Halloween Séance Approved for Olivas Adobe!

The City of
Ventura has approved of a special séance to be held at the old 1847 Olivas Adobe building, the scene of many supernatural events. The séance will be held late at night and may well be one of the most significant events to ever be recorded at the two-story home, now a museum.

“I am pleased as punch to get the permission to conduct this attempt at spirit communication at the adobe,” admits Mr. Senate in a recent conversation. “Who knows what’s going to happen at this event.”

Tickets will sell fast for this event.  Halloween Night 2008.  For more information and tickets call 805-658-4726.

Olivas Adobe Video proves popular on YouTube.

Near 300 people have viewed Mr. Senate’s new video on YouTube “Ghosts of the Olivas Adobe.” And they have given it a rating of four stars.  The short Video took six months to make and a full month to edit.  “It documents three of the most seen ghosts at the site from the mysterious Lady in Black to the eyeless woman and the phantom girl in a white nightdress,” states Mr. Senate. “I learned a great deal in making this short piece.  The skills I learned I will put to work in the next video I am doing “Ghosts of
Ventura’s City Hall’ that I hope to have out in two weeks.   I must thank Megan, my daughter, for all of her help in putting this together.”  Mr. Senate urges all interested in the paranormal to view the five minute feature now on YouTube.

Bigfoot in the Ojai Valley

The huge man beast is back in the news as a hoax was unmasked before the glare of the newspapers. A group tried to pass off a rubber monster costume frozen in a block of ice as a dead Bigfoot.  The attempt did cause Mr. Senate to look into the stories of Bigfoot in
Southern California. He did some research with his daughter Sarah on Nevada’s Sage Ape, a Bigfoot seen in the Silver State

There are some accounts of seeing the monster in the back country in
Ventura County—in the Los Padre’s National Forest.  One man found tracks, another lady claims to have seen a family of Bigfoot near the Sespe Creek.   Still another said he believes the beast attacked him leaving scratches on his back.   A story about the monster by Mr. Senate will appear in the next issue of the View Newspaper.

“I believe that the Bigfoot creature isn’t an animal at all but another form of human that is in advance of human beings. They are psychic creatures with a perfect control of their bodies,” speculates Mr. Senate. “We will never catch one. They are only seen when they make a mistake or want to be seen.  I think they may watch us as a form of entertainment.  We amuse them with our foolish actions.  They may pity human beings.”
